How to write a great resume
Not getting enough interviews?
Your issue could be your resume.
Here's our resume advice and an example
Resumes should be simple, relevant, concise, and compelling:
1. Simple: Use simple words where possible to maximize readability and speed it takes to understand your experience, talents, and goals.
2. Relevant: Pertaining to your targeted roles and desired requirements
3. Concise: Easy to skim, understand, and respond to
4. Compelling: Show how impressive you are through pedigree and metrics
A great resume does this through all 5 sections:
Each section has minor details that make it stand out.
Some examples:
1. The Headline says "Open to relocation" so companies don't shut the door on the candidate without having a conversation.
2. The Summary concisely communicates the candidate's life-time achievements in 1 line.
3. The Experience section makes an unknown company like Door stead sound as impressive as it actually is by highlighting the amount it raised.
