Hundreds of interviews and counting
My company books job seekers hundreds of interviews per month.
Here's a real example of some outreach we did to a company for a candidate.
(We’re in red and the company is in purple)
Notice the following:
1. We write well.
Our emails are:
A) Personalized to the name, company, and job title we're reaching out about.
B) Short and simple, making them easy to read.
C) Written with a clear call-to-action.
We clearly ask "Can you introduce me to the recruiting team?" making it easy for the reader to know what we want.
2. We reach out to multiple people in an organization.
In sales, this is called "multi-threading."
Think you'll look weird or too Relentless for contacting more than one person in a company?
Yes, to some.
Is it worth it to book interviews and get food on the table?
Definitely.
3. We follow up.
Again, is that Relentless?
Yes.
Uncomfortable?
Yes.
Does that get you interviews?
Also yes.
(Notice that none of the follow ups are spiteful or mean. One even offers coffee!)
