I once cold emailed someone pitching myself for a job.
They rejected me.
Apparently, my outreach wasn't personalized enough.
But I rejected their rejection, wrote a personalized email back to them, and re-emphasized why I was a good fit.
They didn't reply so I followed up.
And then, finally, they did.
There’s nothing more satisfying than turning a no to a yes.
Always push back. Always follow up.
