Yesterday we reflected
Today we get to work.
Week 3 is networking week.
And networking isn’t just sending messages.
It’s having actual conversations.
Real calls.
With real people.
That’s where the magic happens.
If you have calls booked this week, here’s your prep.
10 minutes before each call.
Look at their LinkedIn.
What’s their background?
What are they working on?
Check their company’s website.
Any recent news?
Write down 3 questions you want to ask.
That’s it.
10 minutes of prep makes you look professional and thoughtful.
If you don’t have calls booked yet, that’s okay.
Today’s job is to follow up.
Go back to the messages you sent last week.
Anyone who didn’t respond?
Send a gentle nudge.
Anyone who said “let’s chat” but didn’t schedule?
Send them times.
The goal this week is simple.
Have as many conversations as you can.
Not because every conversation leads to a job.
But because you don’t know which one will.
One call could lead to an intro.
One intro could lead to an interview.
One interview could change everything.
But it starts with the conversation.
Go have them.
